Mr. Ram Prakash Yadavstarted his career in 1987, with a reputed Intellectual Property (IP) Law Firm, as an Advocate & Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and worked for more than
16 years with that Firm. He then served
National Innovation Foundation (a society of DST,
Govt. of India) as a
National Coordinator – IPR. Subsequently, he worked with Intel Technology, India (a subsidiary of
INTEL Inc. USA) as Patent Attorney for
three years, an Indian MNC and lastly,
Italian Embassy as
Sr. Advisor –IPR for
two years. He has thus earned an experience of about 33 years now.
Mr. Yadav has obtained special training in
Japan, as “IP Protection Lawyer” in the year 2011 and is an alumni of APIC / JIPII, Japan. His
contribution towards IPRs has been
recognized by MHRD and AICTE, GOI, in the year 2018-19. He has travelled to various foreign countries including USA, Canada, China, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Dubai, to assess viability of technologies, to be acquired by Indian companies, to provide opinions in respect of other cross border IP issues and to deliver lectures on IPRs (Indian System).
Mr. Yadav delivers lectures / talks, in the seminars / conferences organized by MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Min. of MSME, GOI), NRDC (National Research Development Corporation, a GOI’s undertaking), TIFAC (Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council, DST, GOI), CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, DST, GOI), CII (Confederation of Indian Industries), and Educational Institutions / Universities since 2010, regularly.
He has expertise in:
- Prior art searches and analysis
- Drafting specification to be filed at Indian and US PTO, as well
- Prosecution of the patent applications, both at National and International level
- Filing and prosecution of Design applications
- Filing and prosecution of Trademark applications in India and foreign countries
- Filing and prosecution of Copyright applications
- Filing and prosecution of Geographical Indications
- Handling cross border IP issues
S. C. Gupta
Asstt. Controller of Patent & Designs (Retd.)
Subhash Chandra Gupta holds B. Tech (Mech. Eng.) degree and has rich experience of around 35 years. He has obtained trainings from various organizations such as WIPO, EPO and JPO. He has served the Indian Patent Office and retired as Astt. Controller of Patents & Designs in 2006.
Mr. Gupta, after retirement, was associate with a leading IP Law Firm and has dealt with all kinds of issues relating to Patents & Designs including drafting of patent specifications and handling prosecution work at the Indian and foreign patent offices.
He has expertise in:
